So long Florida, hello North Carolina

So I finally did it, I sold all my things and moved to Asheville, North Carolina in mid-September. I had a week long estate sale and made a lot of fellow vintage collectors very happy by unloading my collection.

Here is a sample of the sale.

So for now, I reside in the cutest cozy cottage just one mile from the Biltmore Estate. Look,  it’s even decorated for the holidays.

I have just started picking again and can’t wait to share all my finds with you. I even heard there is a no reserve auction near by. Oh, I am just envisioning all the rustic goodies awaiting my bid!

Here is my find of the week from the Goodwill on Tunnel Road in Asheville.

A Long Overdue Update

Hello Friends,

I have been taking a much needed break from the road for the past three years and focusing my energy on saving money and planning for the future. Wow!! I guess it is time to grow up and think about these things.

I am back in Delray Beach, Florida and will start picking locally very soon. So stay tuned and thanks for following my adventure.

Happy Picking!!

Chevy Through the Ages with American Picker Mike Wolfe | Woodward Dream Cruise

Just received an email from Christian with Big Fuel Communications in NYC. He wanted us to share this information with our fans.

To celebrate their client Chevrolet’s Centennial, they sent American Pickers’ star Mike Wolfe to the Woodward Dream Cruise, a classic auto show in Detroit, to find a Chevy vehicle from every decade (corvettes, camaros, volts, etc dating back to the 1910’s!).

Check out his adventure, it is pretty amazing.

If you all know me, then you know my love for vintage Corvettes. Hey I even have one on the front of my business card. 🙂
